"Cry of the Wild"

Studio Scene will be staging their concert entitled “CRY of the WILD” this coming October at the Jerudong Park Amphitheater. Studio scene is a dance school in Bandar Seri Begawan that teaches various dance disciplines such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Malay Traditional, Latin, Yoga and Pilates. The dance disciplines are exam based and children are assessed by Royal academy of dance London, The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Australian Teachers Int’l Dancing.

According to its managing director, Patricia Siva, the school is now in it’s 3rd year, and their concert will showcase children of varying capabilities. This year’s concert theme, “CRY of the WILD” seeks to raise awareness in people to appreciate the world we live in and to respect the environment and the animal around us.

The Preparation to the "Cry of the Wild"

The children will be performing various dance based on animal themes – Their costumes have been specially made depicting lions, penguins, fishes, panthers, cats, swans, and many more. It promises to be a colorful and entertaining event.

A lot of preparation has gone into the making of this concert and the teachers and children have worked really hard to prepare for it.
